| About CAAE | The Chinese American Association For Engineering (CAAE) was founded on April 1, 1995 in New York City. It is a non-profit professional organization and social community.
| | Objectives | | 1. | Serve as a bridge for cooperation between China and the United States in engineering and related fields. | | 2. | Provide a forum for members to exchange and share professional experience.
| | Membership | The majority of CAAE members have received Ph.D. or MS degrees. Any Chinese American professional in the United States who acknowledges the constitution of CAAE, submits an application and pays membership due may become a member, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.
| | Activities | | 1. | Host technical seminars and conferences in various professional areas. | | 2. | Form exchange programs between China and the United States. | | 3. | Organize social and community activities to promote friendship and communication among members.
| | Services | | 1. | Provide literature containing technical and marketing information. | | 2. | Provide professional consultation and service to US and China enterprises or individuals. | | 3. | Undertake assignments to study marketing potential, evaluate project feasibility and search partners for business and projects. | | 4. | Provide assistance in setting up business or launching programs to advertise new techniques, products and equipment in both countries. | | 5. | Arrange business trips for Chinese delegations to US or US groups to China. | | 6. | Provide assistance or establish links for financing infrastructure projects in China. |
